A man is dead after a "disturbance" in north Austin early Saturday morning. Austin police officers heard the disturbance and responded to the area of Northgate Boulevard and Colony Creek Drive around 3:27 a.m. ALSO | Austin Police biannual memorial honors 29 fallen officers, adds new names to wall "Officers immediately began checking the area and located a male in his thirties with obvious signs of trauma," Officer Alexandra Parker said. However, unfortunately, the victim was pronounced deceased on the scene at approximately 3:37 a.m." Police were not able to provide more information about the man's injuries. Homicide detectives are investigating the incident. The suspect is not in custody, but police say there is no threat to the general public.
